Dr.Matt Croskery
Dr. Matthew Croskery, Veterinarian/ Hospital Director

Dr. Croskery (a.k.a. “Dr. Matt) is a second generation veterinarian who received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph before graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1998. Since becoming the owner/director of Oakpark Pet Hospital in June 2001, Dr. Matt has loved getting to know the pets of Oakville and their families. Dr. Matt has a special interest in small animal surgery, with particular enthusiasm for less invasive endoscopic procedures. If you happen to miss him at the clinic, then Dr. Matt is likely on the links or spending time with his wife Laura, sons, Callum and Nate, as well as Golden retriever Barclay.

Dr. Angela White
Dr. Angela White, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Angela White graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004, after first completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph. Dr. White began her career at an equine and small animal practice in eastern Ontario before joining the Oakpark team in 2006. Dr. White enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, and has a particular passion for small animal medicine and dentistry. Her friendly nature and considerate attention have endeared her to clients. When she is not at work, Dr. White enjoys spending time with her husband Dave, and furry family: her dog Simon and cats Maiya and Merlin. Dr. Angela is currently on maternity leave with her baby Liam.

Dr.Matt Croskery
Dr. Lara Zahra, Associate Veterinarian ****Currently on maternity leave****

Dr. Lara Zahra graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008, after completing both undergraduate and graduate studies at University of Guelph. Dr. Lara has been involved in international projects with ‘Global Vets’ and ‘Vets without Borders’. In 2006, she volunteered in Kenya, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe, working with small holder sustenance farmers, maasai herders and wildlife veterinarians. Then in 2009, Dr. Lara spent six months in New Zealand practicing mixed animal medicine. Dr. Lara’s professional interests include small animal surgery, nutrition, and zoonotic disease. When she’s out of the clinic, she keeps busy playing soccer, diving and biking. That is, when she is not travelling around the world!

Dr.Jenn Georgieff
Dr. Jenn Georgieff, Veterinarian - ****Currently on maternity leave****

Dr. Jenn Georgieff graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2011, after completing undergraduate studies at Brock University in Health Sciences in 2007. Dr. Jenn has started her veterinary career here at Oakpark and couldn’t be happier! She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has an interest in internal medicine. While in the clinic Dr. Jenn has a special talent for making everyone around her comfortable, especially the patients in her care. In her spare time, Jenn enjoys travelling and playing tennis, golf, volleyball, basketball as well as snowboarding. Jenn shares her hometime with her partner Corey and rescue kitten Hank.

Dr. Emma Chappell, Veterinarian

Dr. Emma Chappell graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016 after completing undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Guelph in 2011. From a young age Emma knew that she wanted to be a Veterinarian. Her passion to help animals was fostered by her beloved childhood cat Sophie. While she has always felt a strong connection to her furry companions, her appreciation of the human-animal bond. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but is particularly interested in emergency and internal medicine, as well as preventative health care. Outside of the clinic she enjoys sailing, skiing, snowboarding and spending time with her partner Brandon, and their two cats Colby and Felix.

Dr. Alexandra Parry, Veterinarian

Dr. Alexandra Parry graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, spending her final clinical year at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, after completing her undergraduate studies at Queen's University. Dr. Parry spent her first year in practice at a 24-hour small animal clinic in Barrie and is excited to be returning to the GTA after growing up in the area. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, preventative medicine, and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time she enjoys snowboarding, spending time outdoors, traveling, scuba diving, and baking. She spends her home time with her partner Jason and their polydactyl cat Simcoe.

Dr. Terri Lowe, Veterinarian

Dr. Terri Lowe graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2015, after completing a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Guelph. She practiced in both Cambridge and Burlington before coming to Oakpark Pet Hospital. Growing up on a small hobby farm outside of Acton, Ontario, Dr. Terri realized from a young age how wonderful four-legged companions are. Through high school and university, she fostered this passion by volunteering and working at many different veterinary hospitals. Her special interests include preventative medicine, dermatology, and surgery. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and hiking all the beautiful trails in the GTA with her partner, Chris and their shepherd-cross dog, Spud. They also share their home with a three-legged cat, Freddy, and a rabbit, Walter.

The staff at Oakpark Pet Hospital is a strong group of dedicated professionals. Together they provide the highest quality care your pet can receive. Many of the staff own pets themselves, so they understand that your pets are close family members, which is why they pride themselves on treating animals with the utmost care and compassion.

The client service team at Oakpark can answer any of your questions. They will guide you through your visit from the time you come through the door, until you leave.

Heather Kelly
Heather Kelly, Hospital Manager

Heather graduated from Brock University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Since joining the Oakpark team in 2004, Heather’s role has evolved to ultimately become the clinic manager- she knows everything that goes on at Oakpark! Heather takes her role to heart and works to ensure that clients and their pets have a positive experience each time they visit. At home Heather and her husband keep busy chasing after their 2 sons, Luke and Ben, Golden retrivers Lola and Stirling and 3 cats.
